Bill Turner Soccer - Round 2

On Monday 23rd May, both Boys and Girls SJRC Bill Turner Soccer teams travelled to MacKillop College to contest Round 2 of the statewide competition. Following forfiets in Round 1 and ongoing issues with field availability, both teams were excited to be competing again. However, the recent rain forced both games to be played on the local hockey fields, producing a very fast paced game with ball control proving a critical factor.

Our girls fought hard under the difficult conditions, eventually going down 3-1, while our boys, dominated possession but finished 1-1 at the conclusion of regular time. Following a scoreless extra time and player drop off, the match entered penalty shoot out going down 5-3.
