2024 Athlete Spotlight - Tom Jenkins Part VII
St Joseph's Regional College Year 12 student, Tom Jenkins has once again proved himself as one of our communities top athletes. A sincere thank you to Tom's father, Peter Jenkins for keeping us updated on Toms success. Peter has kindly provided the following report from the recent event.
"Tom has been selected to the Australian team (18-19yrs) for the World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Townsville in August in Cross Triathlon and Cross Duathlon. Recently, Tom travelled up to the Sunshine Coast, Qld to compete at the National Duathlon Championship taking the win in his age group (15-17yo) making him the Austriathlon National Age group Duathlon Champion and a valuable hit-out before the World Champs in August."
