2024 Diocesan Volleyball Championships Report

This year saw the Lismore Diocesan Volleyball Championships return to Sportz Central Coffs Harbour following renovations in 2023.

Team trials were highly competitive, with the majority of trianing occuring outside due to HSC Exams being held in the Hall. The tournament has an energetic, competitive yet supportive atmosphere. SJRC performed well in the pool rounds with four out of five teams making it through to the semi-finals.

15s Boys - MacKillop College 24 def Mt St Pats College 19

15s Girls - St Marys Casino 26 def SJPC Coffs 22

Open Boys - McCauley Catholic College 23 def. St Joseph's Regional 21 in a nail biter

Open Girls - St Joseph's Regional 21 def. McCauley Catholic College 17

The overall success of the College was recognised by being awarded the Champion College of 2024! Congratulations to all players and coaches.
