Wellness Week comes to SJRC
This week, St Joseph’s Regional College has come alive with positivity and connection as we celebrate Wellness Week! Today, our student leaders—fondly known as the Friendship Fairies—spread kindness across the campus by delivering over 1,200 hand-written affirmations. Every single student received a personal note of encouragement, reminding them of their unique value and the strength of our shared community.
To start the day with energy and spirit, students and staff also took part in a 1km walk/run, embracing the importance of physical wellbeing alongside mental and emotional health. Wellness Week at SJRC isn’t just about big gestures—it’s about the small moments of kindness, gratitude, and togetherness that make our college such a special place to learn and grow.
Across the week, our leadership teams from Mission, Stewardship, and Wellbeing have organised a series of activities designed to bring our community closer, promote positive mental health, and spark joy. We are so grateful to be part of a college that values every student’s wellbeing and understands that even the smallest act of kindness can have a big impact.
Here’s to a week of smiles, connection, and community spirit!

Family Connect in Schools Service
Our College families are reminded of the wonderful Family Connect in Schools Service that remains available to them over the school holiday period. Jasmine Waters, our onsite social worker, can be contacted via the details on the flyer below to discuss how she can support our families.
