2025 NSWCCC Athletics Championships Results

On Monday 15th September, 12 students from St Joseph's Regional College travelled to Homebush, Sydney to compete in the NSWCCC Athletics Championships as part of the Lismore Diocesan Squad.

The squad was accompained by a number of Lismore Diocesan representatives, including SJRC's own Mr Cannon and Mr Kelly. Congratulations to all students on their efforts in the carnival. Congratulations to the following SJRC athletes:

Jack Wilson, 9th 12-15 Boys Triple Jump, 6th 15 Boys Javelin Throw

Leeara Elford, 8th 16+ Girls Triple Jump

Cooper Bell, 8th 14 Boys Shot Put

Congratulations to the following students who qualified for the 2025 Merit team:

Miller Farrington - 15+ Boys 1500m Race Walk - 8:13.86s

Bella Fede - 1st Girls 12-15 Discus Throw - 9.54m, - 1st Girls 12-15 Shot Put - 4.15m, 5th 13 Girls 100m

Bella was also named second runner up age champion with 50 points!
