2021 Representative Sporting Teams

A lot of students (and parents) ask each year how the system works and what students have to do in order to trial and be selected into SJRC teams. We explain it below.
There are five tiers of representation:
- SJRC Team
- Students nominate for teams using our SJRC Sport Team Nomination Form. Eligible students are emailed the form link and must nominate by the deadline - this varies for each team.
- To nominate students must agree to the SJRC Sporting Code of Conduct and the SJRC Withdrawal From a Sporting Team Agreement. The form also collects email addresses and therefore students must be logged in to their college Google account when filling in the form.
- For most sports nomination emails are sent out eight weeks before competition.
- Once the nomination deadline has passed details of the students who nominated is passed onto coaches. They then email students with details of team trials.
- Our complete sporting calendar is found at the SJRC Sport Website. It includes nomination links for Diocesan & CCC Sports.
- We also enter competitions that are NSW All Schools events and consist of three levels - school, region and state. Touch football, netball, rugby league, volleyball and rugby union.
