HSC Examinations

Please continue to keep our Year 12 students in your prayers as they near the end of their HSC examinations on Friday, 3rd November.

World Teachers' Day

Today, we celebrate World Teachers Day, and this year's theme is 'HATS OFF' to Teachers.

We, as a staff, live out our vocation in an amazing school, and that is because of our dedicated and professional staff.

I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all of our teachers today. I always say that our teachers here at St Joseph's Regional College are "second to none", and our students are blessed. You educate, support and inspire students to be more than they could imagine, and today, we acknowledge your hard work and dedication.

To celebrate and acknowledge this day, the Hastings Region Catholic Schools Office has kindly sent the staff a huge box of homemade cookies. We also gathered for a gratitude morning tea cake.

Year 11 Semester Two Award Ceremony

Year 11 Semester Two award ceremony will be held next Wednesday, 1st November at 9:00am in the PAC. Families of students receiving an award have been notified. 

Year 11 Final reports will be available via the Compass app on Thursday 2nd November.

Student Leadership Team Morning Tea

To acknowledge and celebrate our newly appointed 2024 Student Leadership Team, we invite their families to share in morning tea with us. The morning tea will be held on Wednesday, 1st November at 10:00am. This being at the conclusion of the Year 11 Awards ceremony. We will also use this opportunity to photograph our new leaders; you are most welcome to take photos.

We look forward to seeing you to celebrate this achievement.

College Accounts

As the year draws closer, I am writing to seek your support.

Over the next week, your College Subject and Activity Account Statements will be emailed to the nominated fee payers. Thank you to those families who have already finalised their account or whose account is currently in credit.

These statements are now overdue. I ask that you finalise outstanding amounts at your earliest convenience to assist the College in finalising the 2023 school year financial costs.

Rock Youth is a weekly youth group for teenagers between Years 7-12 from St Agnes’ Catholic Parish.

It begins after the 5:00pm Mass, which all youth and families are welcome to attend. It is held in the St Agnes’ Catholic Parish Hall and concludes at 8:00pm.

This is a safe place where there is an opportunity to learn more about what faith can look like.
