I extend to you a very warm welcome to our Christ-centred learning community.

I believe your decision to entrust your child’s education to our care is a wise one. As educators in a Catholic school environment, we aim to nurture young people to do ‘the best they possibly can’ in all their endeavours. In this context, the reaching of one’s potential relates not only to the academic, sporting and social life within the College but also to being open to spiritual growth and the teaching and religious practices of the Catholic Church. At St Joseph’s Regional College, we will foster Christ-centred learners, enabling them to think creatively and critically, communicate and collaborate effectively, and build relationships based on respect, resilience and responsibility.

St Joseph’s Regional College has high expectations for our students to achieve. This begins with the St Joseph’s Regional College's attention to the details of the seemingly smaller, but no less important, day-to-day aspects of life at the school. Hence, the wearing of school uniform with pride, care for our school environment and the manner in which we relate to others at school and in the wider community are pivotal to the formation of well-rounded and spiritually centred young people.

I witness quality teaching and learning taking place within our school environment daily. Indeed, the staff at St Joseph’s Regional College is a very committed group of people. The majority of St Joseph’s Regional College's ongoing academic success and heightened profile in the Hastings Valley Region is attributable to the positive relationships staff form with students in their learning.

One of the key indicators of a good school is that students are happy in their learning and are loyal to their families and communities to which they belong.
